I only have this deal here because NRD said the Isles would be willing to give up pick 13 for Anderson and I trust him as a reliable source. As long as he goes for any first at the draft idgaf where he goes. I just want Kent Hughes to exploit old-minded GMs and get a haul for a player they should be getting rid of anyway.

The Oilers only have one pick in the top 100. Given Holland’s recent history of going for depth over home run picks by trading down to maximize his shots on the draft board, it is fair to assume that he might want to trade down again.

The Canucks don’t need DiPietro in the pipeline with the emergence of Demko and the Habs could use some goaltending prospects as they don’t have a bonafide long term solution in net despite Primeau, Dobes and Dichow all showing some sort of NHL promise in some capacity.
