So Zacha walks? If that were the case I'd hope the Oil seek his rights in a Pulju trade, I think that would be a useful middle 6 add if Pulju is lost.

Yeah I think so, makes sense for the Oilers too. Wood is interesting case too, I'd like to keep him but the QO is really high.

Maybe, but as the cap goes up over time they at least proportionally decrease and if Devils want that firepower and goaltending it will be hard to avoid that. Maybe Pulju is unnecessary but I think he'll become a guy you can move for a first round pick and more down the line. Plus that success encourages players to sign and renew at a discount in future.
