if we trade Anderson and Petry before this trade we only have one of Byron or Hoffman to trade to make the cap work. Does it worth it . Of course all of it depend on 1- what we can receive for Petry and Anderson. 2- What is the surrounding of this trade , which team should add and how much.
and it help for the rebuild in the same time .
So what should be the surrounding of this trade in your opinion?

Trading Klefboom doesn't do anything for Edm.

They have room for Keith on a one year deal and one year buy out of Kassian. No chance they trade Bourgault.

Yep. This year is all that matters. Lucic retention, Sekera buyout and Keith are off the cap next year. Saves Edm ~5 mil counting Kassian buyout.

A decent chance Bourgault/Holloway/Petrov are a line for ~2.7 mil in 23-24. Nothing here is worth Bourgault being traded,
