1.
MTL
  1. DeBrusk, Jake
Additional Details:
Habs get a LW to play with Suzuki & Caufield
BOS
  1. Anderson, Josh
Additional Details:
Boston get a RW to play in their top 6 with Marchand out
2.
MTL
  1. 2023 1st round pick (LAK)
LAK
  1. Edmundson, Joel
Additional Details:
I know a lot of LA fans are looking for a D who can bring offense, but how about a stay at home defender in his prime with a Stanley Cup ring and a reasonable contract?
3.
MTL
  1. 2023 1st round pick (SJS)
SJS
  1. Pitlick, Rem [RFA Rights]
  2. Ylönen, Jesse
Additional Details:
San Jose is cap-strapped and is looking for middle 6 wingers to help them compete immediately.

Rem Pitlick can probably be signed for about 2M and can be expected to deliver 40-50 pts next season. He is definitely a player Habs fans do not want to trade but at the same time we need futures more than players to help us today

Jesse Ylonen is a well rounded RW with a wicked wrister ... He is NHL-ready but cannot get past the Habs logjam at RW created by our old GM who overpaid Armia, Gallagher, and Anderson

We have plenty of "MIDDLE 6" wingers and there is NO way we are trading our 23' 1rst RD pick, which could possibly be another Lottery pick.

Interesting. I was going off the recent article in The Athletic which specifically called out the the biggest organizational need is a couple of top 9 wingers to support the scoring. I don't really follow the Sharks, but this was based on the idea that the Sharks have not committed to a rebuild at which point a lottery pick is pretty unlikely.

Would you do the deal if it was top 5 lottery protected?

No. We have plenty of middle wingers, we need a Top 6 goal scoring RW.

Boston declines. There is no cap room as of now. If you'd take Folingo then maybe it could work.

We dont need bottom six wingers, and if we did I dont think those guys even count. Pitlick is just bad, and Ylonen is about a fourth liner. Certainly not fetching a lottery first, maybe a third for Ylonen.

15 goals and 22 assists on the worst team in the league is bad? Playing on the 3rd line? What is good?

Cap is really king this offseason, huh?
