    Sabres made their cap move, dont have any reason to help Van, and Malone is useful to Rochester which is why they resigned him to a 2way

    It marginally helps Van since Ferland is LTIR. 6th round pick is pretty fair to take on a LTIR contract imo. Doesn’t have to be Buffalo taking it. Arizona, Anaheim, Detroit etc could all take it too.

    Could also see the Canucks just keeping ferland and operating in LTIR all year

    But you chose Buffalo and Buffalo has no reason to do it, so therefore i said what i said. A 6th might be fair but its still useless

    Bruh Buffalo literally just did a LTIR trade as you mentioned. They are exactly the type of team that would accept a LTIR dump
