That's a lot for the Cat, but it might be worth it. However, if NYI flops and Cat doesn't get an extension, NYI basically re-builds CHI while aging and requiring another re-build. It's risky, but could work. CHI might accept so long as the picks aren't protected.
I don't think Varly gets a 2nd rounder. His performance isn't much better than Alexander Georgiev, but his cap hit is pretty high. A 3rd MIGHT work. BUF also signed Anderson already so they aren't a great fit for Varly on a one year deal IMO. Seems like BUF's long-term solution in net is UPL backing up the guy who won the Mike Richter award in the NCAA last year.
Bellows gets more than $850,000.00 in arb. Needs a bump.
