Pretty sure Seabrook helps out Tampa’s cap situation so why are they shipping him off?

Seabrook doesnt do anything for the cap situation. if anything he hurts it cause we cant accrue cap space during the year for the TDL.

True but this scenario leaves us with no room for in season moves, right? Not sold yet on TDA. Good player and he appears to have matured some but I don't trust him.

if we move the Seabrook contract, we cant get some cap space throughout the year. Not totally sold on Tony D but cant hate his production even if he is a locker room problem like some say. seems like his teammates actually like him but also think maybe the ship has sailed on him back in Tampa.

Yeah but the cap hit is only 400k below the cap. How much are you going to accrue on a daily basis? Using the LTIR going into the season sucks no doubt but it gives us the ability to add a rental without being forced to subtract. Maybe my understanding is wrong. I'm no expert.

we could probably save up enough to get a rental on double retention.
