The first trade is fine, though I’m not sure I’d make it.

VGK - I’d rather just trade Bemstrom for a pick, not sure we need another LHD, also Hague would be 3rd pair with Blankenburg in this case.

VAN - not sure why we’d trade for another wing when we have 21 forwards with NHL experience and the majority of them need NHL ice time.

OTT - Nyquist can get a better return then that, he could get at least a 2nd at the deadline (50% retained) if he has a similar season to last season.

Palat - same comment as adding Garlund.

I'm not sure Arizona is going for that trade.

Arizona probably does because they get 2 picks inside the top 12 and they are in the middle of a deep rebuild as in they’ll be bad for a while, Columbus moves up 3 spots from 6-3 and moves back 15 from 12-27.

I probably think it's too much. Big drop off in talent after that 5 spot.

I have a small drop after pick 3, and another small drop after pick 7 and a wide range from 8 to 15. There really isn’t a a major drop in the top 10. Honestly it’s wide open at this point and anything could happen.

Yes, but that comes from other ratings, things I’ve read from prospect sites and professionals (Button, MacKenzie and others)
