Probably better to go with Jack Johnson and Kadri over Murray and Giroux, no? I realize you may have been looking for short term with these signings, but Erik Johnson and JT Compher come off next year for Mackinnon and Byram, so it should even out. Plus, Murray didn't play a single game in the playoffs, whereas Jack Johnson did play. I'd be surprised if they brought him back

JJ was close to retirement before this season, I assume he will this year. Murray could be a 7th d-man to keep around on the cheap, but you can't really rely on him. Meyers will play before Sedlak does. I like Giroux for a one year Cup run deal. Don't like MAF, dude is not bad or anything but really overrated. People talk about how good he is in the playoffs but he spent his last 3 Cup runs on the bench. Pretty solid team altogether though.

I'd be curious to see if Sedlak plays, he's a 6 foot 5 205 pound center, he may be someone that fits in to replace helm, have no idea how good he is at all. maybe Meyers takes that spot, but they went out and signed him for some reason and I doubt its for depth at the AHL level. Personally, I see JJ getting resigned over Murray. Murray is still under 30 and last year signed a 2m deal. Kermid is missing from this roster and I know he's still under contract. I also know that it probably doesn't matter too much in line combos, but I'd put Landy, Nate and Chooch in on the top line and pair Giroux with the Finns.
