Even if this sandin speculation is true, they're gonna get a lot more for him than a guy who will be a ufa in a week

Leafs don't have leverage in any Sandin trade, teams can offer sheet him $4.2M and Leafs get a second

Lou is a respected GM, no one will offer sheet his players and wouldn't have the worry. It was already rumoured that Dubas isn't respected unfortunately. Started with that goalie who the Coyotes claimed and they only claimed him as a joke against the Leafs. Also when the new Hawks GM leaked the trade to gain a reputation with other GMs

Replace Strome with Kubalik and take away the pick from CHI and your pretty close
