We don't have the cap space to do this and we already have 8 D under contract next year. Even if we end up trading Dumba (which I doubt we will), we don't need another defenseman.

Yeah the entire point of trading Dumba would be to clear cap space to backfill another position. Not replace him with another def cap hit. He’s too emotionally valuable to the Wild for this type of trade. IMO.
