There's multiple teams interested, usually leads to a bidding war so I'm thinking a 2nd without retention is realistic. Would imagine that retention would then include another pick on top of the 2nd

Don't disagree with you about the bidding war - but if that is the price WITHOUT retention, that is insane for someone who has been pretty below average in the past 3 years. I hope the Caps pass on that then.
