This would be nice....
Area of concern for the 22-23 campaign would be 3rd line D. Hopefully Smith can redeem himself and either Shak or Walsh can step in on the other side until Nemec and Hughes are ready.

The Bratt, Forsberg, and Nichushkin signings are too low. Especially the last two.

The Vanecek signing is way too high.

A little room for adjustment is there. I don't think the Bratt signing is too low, but the Devils could afford to spend about 2m more, cumulatively.

Nichushkin and Forsberg are both likely to sign for 2m more each and Nichushkin for significantly longer. Nichushkin is also likely to stay in COL with them letting Kuemper walk.
