Arizona won't take Ferland, his contract isn't insured and they'd have to pay him his salary. Ferland would have to go to a wealthy team close to the ceiling in a swap for a bad contract or cap squeeze steal, see Weber for Dadonov; Seabrook for Johnson+2nd.

VAN still need a right shot C, Roy fits the bill with the size and age gap that JR is looking for. Team also needs to add sandpaper and size, moving Miller makes them very small and easy to play against, that needs to be addressed as well. VAN wants to add a veteran goaltender for Abbotsford from reports. I know Myers holds value and is not a cap dump, but he does hold a NTC (10 team no trade list). Ferland I just tossed anywhere.
