Description
If Price is 100%, Allen is traded to EDM, because Kevin Weeks reported interest from EDM and it makes sense for both teams, again it happens only if Price is healthy, if not, we keep him.

Hoffman for Barrie makes also a lot of sense. Bouchard and Ceci are on RD for EDM and a guy like Hoffman could definitively be worth the price for them if he can contribute, this could be really good for them. For MTL, Barrie could take the spot left empty by Petry.

Petry to Dallas make also a lot of sense, because they probably wont resign Klingberg. The return is not too much for Petry and we take Khudobin to have a better return. He would be the backup of Primeau and if Price or Monty is hurt, he could make an honest job in the NHL for a couple of games.

The Dadonov trade is good for both teams, they get a good winger that could pull a great season we a good team + they free cap space with hagelin and MTL get picks and Hagelin that they buyout.

For Vlasic, maybe it wont happen, but there is a real possibility that he gets buyout form SJ. If its the case, he talked about playing in MTL and how he would be happy about it. MTL could sign him to a 2year/3,5 mil to play on the top 4, waiting for the Guhle, Harris, Xhekaj to take some pro experience.

David Pagnotta (I believe) mentioned the price is a bit hefty for Allen. EDM's Plan A is to sign Campbell and worst case scenario, Allen

Yes, im pretty sure he is not EDM first choice, but he is a solid B option, especially because of low cap hit. The price for Allen is probably big, because a lot of teams are looking for a Goalie, but there is not a lot of option.

Doesn't look like SJ is buying out MEV at this point (unfortunately). Hopefully there's another way to get out from his money via trade, but I think it is doubtful. Montreal is about the only place I could see him going waiving his NMC to go, but even at 50% retention I don't know if anyone would be willing to take on 4 years of Vlasic at $3.5 million.

Yes its unlikely. The 3,5 mil is good, but the 4 years is too much.

You can have him next summer after the buyout for Vlasic then.

Barrie for Hoffman is interesting from a Habs point of view but i dont think EDM is in too much of a rush to move on Barries now that they got Keith and Smith off the books. I also dont know how willing they are to commit 4.5M for 2 more years to an aging winger who would very likely play outside the top 6 and have a very hard time making their top PP with Draisaitl standing on the right dot. Still interesting to think about however
