Trades
1.
WPG
  1. Puljujärvi, Jesse [RFA Rights]
  2. 2023 2nd round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
Puljujarvi could be traded at any time now and the Jets need a more defensive-minded middle 6 RW'er that can bring some offence.
EDM
  1. Dillon, Brenden
Additional Details:
Now that Keith retired the Oilers need a new LHD.
2.
WPG
  1. Denisenko, Grigori
  2. Hörnqvist, Patric
  3. 2023 2nd round pick (FLA)
FLA
  1. Wheeler, Blake ($4,125,000 retained)
3.
WPG
  1. 2023 4th round pick (LAK)
LAK
  1. Hörnqvist, Patric ($2,650,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Hornqvist agrees to wave his M-NTC and the Jets find a team to flip him to with salary retained. Still a useful bottom 6'er at $2.65M. LA is one the way up and has cap space. Any team that is on the rise with a chance to win next year would be interested.
4.
WPG
  1. Strome, Dylan [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
He is not getting qualified.

Too much for pool party.

I'd rather keep Wheeler if the Jets are retaining that much and taking back Hornqvist.

Lol. That is funny. Puljujarvi has been pretty unimpressive so far. I'd be amazed if someone gives up more than a 3rd or struggling prospect for him.

I think there could be a deal there with Dillon and JP. If not then yes a 3rd or someone like Gawanke or Kovacevic.

I don't understand people's fascination with JP. He seems fairly useless.

He is a solid defensive middle 6 RW. He is Nichushkin lite.

Seems like a pretty massive stretch, but I guess he couldn't hurt at the right price.

That guy thinks every trade is bad for the jets.. Dillion is brutal. I’d way rather take younger player with a much higher ceiling
