Description

So basic premise is added Murray as tandem with either Campbell or Kuemper. Need a 3 way with Ottawa and someone (I picked Arizona) to bring down salary hit through retention.

Trade for Strome and sign to similar contract as kerfoot now getting.

Trade Holl and sign Sandin to similar contract as lilgren.

Sign comrie as free agent and stash on marlies.

Is Ottawa giving 2 x 2nds to give up Murray and add holl?

Huh?..

Toronto are getting Murray for 1.5 cap hit + 2 x 2nd rd picks and are giving up Abramov, a 5th and holl who is there 5th or 6th or 7th defenseman.

Murray gives them depth, a guy who has won 2 cups, and as stated is second guy in a goalie tandem.

Also note that that pick allowed them to maybe trade for Strome with Chicago.
