I do not think Dylan Strome would take that much of a hometown discount..... coming off of a solid season where he made 6 million.

I also do not see Arizona helping the Leafs out with that much cap space for just a 2nd round pick

Strome made 3.6 last year and wasn’t tendered a QO , I would bet his contract comes in on a one or two year deal just under 3

Canucks pass - Schenn isn't the sexiest player but he's a very capable RD3 who can bump up to RD2 and play 20 minutes a night if you need, without killing you. A guy who can do that and gets paid just above the league minimum has a ton of value and isn't just gonna be a throw-in with JT Miller. I'd argue that Sandin/Hirvonen/2023 1st might not even be enough to get you Miller alone with that retention, but I'll leave it to Canucks fans to pass full judgment on that.
