Canes aren’t doing that. Canes aren’t trading Drury, and Scandella and Barbashev are acquisitions that make no sense for the Canes.

He isn’t a top 6 pure goal scorer, so we don’t really need him.

Well he put up more points last year than all but 3 guys on your team so looks like he can play in your top 6…He’s also not the main piece in the trade (a pure goal scorer is) but keep on being pleasant…

I would love Tarasenko and Barbashev, but it's looking more and more unlikely that Necas is leaving and i doubt the canes trade Drury. They would do that for 2 other non-morrow prospects and add a 1st.

And actually, what would be Barbashev's price alone?

You need more than just that to win a cup. Plus we're also getting that in this trade. Barbashev would be a great fit here.
