so buffalo is taking on 7m in cap just to upgrade their 2nd round pick by like, 5 spots?

7m for one season. they could also retain some of his salary and trade him at the dealine

It will be a lot more than 5 spots. Rumors are PHI/BUF are working on a JVR trade. Would think moving into the 1st round would be enticing.

I actually do not see either team doing this. I haven't heard JVR to BUF but it would make sense for CAP reasons

Anthony SanFilippo was the beat writer, but is still well connected. Full disclosure, he is backing down from the rumor, seems most dont want to take on JVR's salary

I don't see why Buffalo would send anything back. They don't need the cap, nor the player. Would more likely be JVR and the 1st for future consideration.
