Description

Heard Gustafsson signed to the Caps. Assuming it is a 1 year less than $1mil. I like it. Also signed Irwin to a $750k two way contract. Depth.

Now we need a forward. Milano would be a good addition to provide some mid-6 speed and scoring ability.

The only bad thing about today: I heard GMBM is avaiable to the media at 5pm. This usually means the Caps are done...

FYI: I know this team is over the cap but Wilson / Backy will be on LTIR - when they come off, just send someone down (Johansen or Irwin)

We are in big trouble if Eller is 2C. Mcmike would be fine if we signed another top 6 forward to play with him

Agreed - McMichael needs help as he develops (I know everyone likes him, but I was unimpressed with him last season. That being said, he is young). I think that third line (Milano - McMichael - Oshie) is a solid line and could be a 2nd line there.

I think we are in big trouble if we don't get a forward. Whether that is a winger or center - we need someone who can easily come in to score 15+ goals
