i dont see a trade coming but these additons leave the door open. if zadina or bertuzzi do end up getting moved there are players available to fill the holes.

Whether or not you like the contract, he’s what that defense needs to be complete and they can actually absorb the contract without any issue.

Simple math would tell you they cannot just absorb $8M AAV for 6 more years

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has gone out and filled holes while only giving up 1 draft pick for Husso. If the Wings don't make another trade this offseason I'm good with it Detroit isn't a playoff team yet.

Well a simple Detroit genius might want to try getting the number correct… it’s 4 more years at that cap hit and again I made a team with him on it for Detroit and they still have plenty of money to play with and resign people.
