Description

Labanc and simek have to be moved somehow, and having three NHL-capable goalies does not make a ton of sense for the sharks... these trades have to happen... Right? (This is Assuming Coe makes the team as well as Eklund and bords)

(im more excited for 6'4 100 point ohl guy - Brandon Coe than any other prospect at this moment.)

2 years is going to cost you more than that. Id want a 2nd for 2 years at least.

you just lost Burns, why would you need to dump a D man? We are rebuilding, so yes we are moving on from a lot of guys to allow the younger guys a chance to develop, we also have new management stamping their blueprint across the lineup. Obtaining a guy like Simek isn't high on the priority so for that to happen we would need to be paid.

No disrespect to Simek but you can probably get a guy with his output on a much cheaper deal and not be tied up for the 2 years.

We also have a lot of D in the pipeline and guys who are pegged to get a shot. We didn't sign any D Free agents as a priority for a reason.
