Description

Necas would be a perfect replacement for Fiala. If he can be acquired at the right price and signed to a bridge deal cheap enough. 2 other RFA's out there that could be acquired for the same purpose are Kapanen from Penguins or Puljujarvi from Oilers. Dylan Strome or Evan Rodrigues would be possible UFA signings to fill the spot also. So, Necas, Kapanen, Puljujarvi, Strome, or Rodrigues. To fill our last Forward spot.

I like Necas but I wouldn't deal Faber for him since we need a defensive RD a lot more than we need another young forward. If we wanted him I think we would have had to have dealt Fiala for a package that included Necas. Think both teams probably say no here.

The most realistic "Fiala replacement" is probably Miller, but it's going to take a lot to get him and he'd likely just be a rental for us.
