Description

Looking around the league for top tier options while considering the latest rumors and cap situations left only a few intriguing choices.

There are the obvious names going around: JT Miller or Tarasenko
Potentially available due to imminent contract expiration with no extension in place: M. Tkachuk, Pastrnak, Laine, Kane

If pasta won't talk extension and Bs don't want to risk losing him for nothing, is this enough to get it done?

Additional minor moves would have to be made to fill out the remainder of the roster but the main idea is to assess the feasibility of acquiring Pastrnak. Other options to follow.

I’d be down for Pasta but I’d prefer to keep Mayfield for the playoffs. It’s not like Boston would need him if they actually traded Pasta.

I'm certainly ok with swapping out Mayfield for a D prospect if they prefer, love Scottie and hope isles re-sign him

1 we're not trading Pasta we're working an extension with him.
2 you're about 2 first round picks off of fair value here. you offer walmart Jake DeBrusk (Beauvillier) walmart Brandon Carlo (Mayfield) and Whalstrom and a mediocre 1st for a 40 goal scorer in the middle of his prime. no thanks
