Nino would get paid significantly more from a lot of other teams.

A team that does not want to compete or spend money this year. Kerfoot''s cap hit is $3.5M, but real salary is $750k. Both players can be traded near the trade deadline for assets. Kerfoot could fetch a 2nd and Holl a 3rd.

So it's a great way for them to hit the floor, while adding warm bodies for trades in the future.

The Arizona trade..lol.

Crouse was a 20 goal scorer last year. And then he puts him on the 4th line. Like look, he’s a 4th liner, no big deal. Engvall and NAK are better. You aren’t trading a 25 year old, 20 goal scorer(on a bad offensive team too).

Why wouldn't Arizona just trade Crouse for a better return?

What, Arizona doesn’t two players that their teams fans have been wanting to trade for years??
