Description

This team is going to get scored on. ALOT. I’m very curious what we do with Joshua Roy I’m pretty sure he’s not AHL eligible it’s either the big club (we’d need to move out multiple wingers) or back to the Q to dominate again.

TDL will be fun Dadonov, Drouin, Byron gone. Hopefully somebody gets desperate and gives us something for Petry. Also would be nice if we could move a few wingers to open a spot for Ylonen.

This team is bottom of our division and bottom 10 in the league guaranteed.

In HuGo we trust.

PS reports indicate Byron won’t be ready for opening night and honestly it doesn’t seem like Price will be either, if ever again.

Drouin and Byron are not likely to be ready for the beginning of the season and both are expected to go on LTIR. Price on the other hand, I suspect will be ready since he played in the slow-pitch tournament a couple weeks ago.

Bedard!!!!! But I think one of Suzuki, Caufield, Guhle will have to go because of cap. Or we could pay a haul to get rid of galy

We also have like 16-17 million coming off the books next off season with Dadonov (5 mil) Drouin (5.5 mil) Byron (3.4 mil) and Jake Allen (2.8)

Plus if MTL can trade petry for a cheaper option, there is another 3 million.

So 19 million to play with, Caufeild (7x7.5mil) if he plays well this season, and Guhle (again if he turns into a stud) will be like 7x7 or something.

Rest of roster can be rookies, cheap vets

Yes it is a lot of money, however when you look at it closer, the guys you named are the only ones that would be under contract long term when Bedard was coming off his ELC (4 years from now). Gallagher and Anderson would only have a year left and everyone else would have expired, including Price. so while that is 40.3 Mil against the cap that is your core group locked up long term for less than half the cap. We could easily fill out the rest of the roster with 42.2 Mil.

3 of them ha e not played a single nhl game, and one is not even with the team, you can relax with cap space questions.
