It's maybe a little overstated but only a little. He is a great player and can contribute offensively quite well. But he would be a rental and doesn't play defense. In case you hadn't noticed, the Avs have quite a few Cup champs on their team now so paying for prestige isn't necessary. A 1st, JTC and Ranta? Sure but another first and Girard plus all that? Not a chance.

Don't think Compher is worth much especially with every team knowing COL is tight on cap. To rebuilding CHI compher is worth literally nothing. Your 1st's are going to be 28-32. Ranta is a B prospect at best, nothing special. Compher+Ranta+pick 32 is definetly not close for KAne. Like I said this package is too much but not worth getting mad over. If you take Girard out I think it's probably about Kane's value
