i was thinking the zaistev for ceci trade was only to save cap in the long run, dubas had to clean up after lou

Just to add, the Leafs had to include Connor Brown....you are right "to clean up Lou's mess". Gee seems like the Leafs have had 20 years of GMs who have been poor in cap management.
