I don't see them trading for Girard. Its going to be Pelech-Pulock, Romanov-Dobson, Salo-Mayfield. 7th D will be Aho when they need a LD and Hutton when they need a RD. If you could get rid of Bailey for free sure but the Rangers had to pay 2 2nds to get rid of Nemeth so I think it will cost the Islanders something to move him.

It's not enough. But if Avs want to sign Kadri they need to create space and prices will be diminished.

Girard is not needed, and creates issues next year with cap when resigning Barzal and Wahlstrom and trying to acquire a top 6 W.

Wahlstrom has a breakout year he costs anywhere from 3.5 to 4.5. Barzal is going to get at least 8.5 for 8. You need at least 2.5 for a backup goalie.

perhaps, but these tales are largely based on nothing. Barzal is probably the only one you can say is mostly correct
