Description
If Poile wants finally win the SC, he must to do something like that.

I think this is fair trades.
1)Toronto need a cap space, I cannot see, that someone will pay 2nd for Kerfoot. It will be maximum - 3rd + low lvl prospect (here it can be someone like Walther).
2) Miller is elite. And I think price is here.
Young RHD (NHL player, with no doubt), former 1st rounder, with good defensive skills. And, to be honest, he doesn't need to make something special at the offensive zone, when he will play with Hughes :)
Likely best offensive prospect in system. 55 goals in OHL last season, really close to 2 points per game. At camp he shows that he is a special kid, so don't undervalued him. Yes, he is not elite, or A+ lvl prospect. But he is definitely A lvl prospect.
It will be difficult to let him go, but you can not afford someone like Miller without that piece in the deal.
2nd, that 99% will be 1st at very, very strong draft.
3rd that, hopefully, will have a good chance to become 2nd :)

I like Miller a lot but that's a big overpay for a guy coming off a career year that will turn 30 this year and needs a new contract. Fabbro is still developing and is a cost-controlled RFA playing a premium position. Evangelista has shown huge offensive upside, which we desperately need, and might be able to contribute while still on an ELC in a year or two. Then adding on a couple picks. Just not worth it to me.

I also like Kerfoot a lot but he doesn't fit what we need. We need top 6 goal scoring.

After years of Leafs fans trying to send Kerfoot to the Preds twenty times a day, they finally broke one of us, huh?
