Make that 2nd Puljujarvi and I would do this

Are the Oilers not high on Broberg anymore? If the Devils couldn't work a package including Sevo for a top-6 forward, I'd take this.

What I was thinking

Oilers still high on him, I'd rather give up Samorukov and Puljujarvi but I think Broberg would be more enticing for the Devils

broberg on an ELC, drafted by holland, still progressing well.... no way they give him up for 1 year of severson. I like severson, but bouchard and barrie duplicate those skills and are on the roster now, i wouldn't give up broberg for that, let alone throw in a pick or JP.

I am not saying severson isn't worth that per se, i like the player, but the fit for the oilers plus the cost doesn't compute for me.
