This trade makes the Leafs worse. Now they are missing a d-man and still have no money

Not sure about that to be honest. No way Calgary would do this though...no way.

Tkachuk is a different player than Nylander (more 2 way agitator) however he wants to go to the states so this would be a quick stop in Toronto. Also hes gonna cost 8-10 mil for a season or two, and I can't see him thrilled to be rival team of his brother. Losing Muzzin also hurts the PK for the leafs and exposes the goaltending even more. Its a bad move for Toronto

I have heard those rumors but until I hear it from him that's all it is. I get your point, but he us exactly what we lack and the savings from Muzz would let us get a replacement and ensure we can sign Sandin.
