Miller gone Wild

Created by: Allen_B1492
Team: 2022-23 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 20, 2022
Published: Jul. 20, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Nils will start in the minors for a reset if Bruce thinks he needs further seasoning. If the Wild doesn't want retention, that first would drop to a 2nd and the 4th would disappear. I know we are not getting a top 6 coming back but i think Matt and Pearson could give Dickinson an opportunity to come back. Greenway would solidify the 4th line with his grit and mobility and Liam is an A+ prospect. I know its not a right D but it would still be a strong return.

Minnesota would rather keep Boldy as he's cheaper, younger and still put up 39 points in 47 games

Minnesota can’t afford to extend him so this likely does not happen

No shot the Wild give up Boldy. Don’t think they’d trade for Miller as they wouldn’t be able to extend him

They do have some contracts coming up so they could extend

It's a fantasy thinking you are getting this for Minnesota. Minnesota isn't interested either. Nobody paid four 1st round picks for him when he wasn't a rental, and he's now..Guerin doesn't even like paying 1st round pick for rentals. He didn't give this up for eichel. To think Minnesota would ever give up three 1st round picks or four 1st round pick for Miller is straight up not being critical thinking

No, we can't. We have the Parise and suter cap hold. Not a chance you are getting this from any team especially Minnesota

Guerin likes Miller big difference to Eichel and the 1st was only in the case of retention and fyi i didn't notice the buyouts i was wondering what was efffing up your cap so bad.

Dude no he doesn't. The reporter who covers wild said he didn't put up any effort for JT Miller and walked away. Stop trying to reason your fantasy ask for JT Miller. You already have been told Guerin wouldn't be interested because he doesn't pay for rentals

I think you forgot about the massive recapture penalty for Parise and suter

1st, 2m retention for one season is not worth a 1st round pick.
2nd, Boldy holds more value to the Wilds cap and cup contention window than Miller does, so he would not be involved in a Miller deal
3rd, Wild probably can’t make Miller work anyways, his cap hit in 2023-24 would probably make it very hard to resign Dumba and Boldy with a total of like 19.2m to sign Dumba, Boldy, Miller, and I think 8 other skaters.

In my eyes, Wild should be out on Miller unless he is magically willing to sign for 7m or less but that isn’t going to happen, and even if he does that means Dumba is very likely forced out the door
