Gotcha and what are you giving ANA to take on the contracts?

    In his defense,
Kap has some trade value (3rd line RW who can kill penalties)
Zucker has some value in a bounce back
So you could consider the Zucker sweetener as Kap. That said, why would Anaheim want either player?
Also, why would you sign NN to such a big contract? You're basically replacing Zucker with a new Zucker but one who is on the books for 5 more years.

Looks like Anaheim needs 2 more forwards an another RHD, I think all three are serviceable with Zucker being the only unreasonably expensive one. However a healthy season and some cap held could net good assets at the deadline, same with Kapanen and Friedman is a net positive since he has great value at that price.

I don't think this an Andrew Ladd type situation or Matt Murray,

Honestly I thought neiderreiter would get more like 5.5 on a two year deal so I'd edit that to 3 for 6 to get better savings. So healthier than Zucker and considerably cheaper but I agree they have an equivalent skill level
