Okay, let me cut to the chase, keep it totally simple. Including ANY meh defensemen in the trade is futile. The Blues don't want them. At all. You'd be far better positioned by just leaving them out. All of them. No Ruh, no Friedman, not even Pettersson.

Pettersson may be traded, but he ain't coming to STL. As for the 2nd and Poulin, yeah that would be decent if Barby absolutely must be moved. Of course, some other team could also top it.

I didnt trade Pettersson to STL. I said "Anywhere".

How about Barb for McGinn + 1st?
StL can package a 4th to toss McGinn to the void and use the 1st as a sweetener for Matt T?
