Description

I liked Daniel Nugent Bowman's idea of getting someone on LTIR for 1-year so that the Oilers could at least exceed the cap even if they are unable to accrue cap space.

I think most people agree that Foegele's contract should be moved because it is one of the least efficient contracts on the team now that Kassian's contract was moved.

In my opinion, it's crazy to even think about trading away Tyson Barrie. Edmonton needs all the defensemen it can get and you could do much worse than Tyson Barrie. Great powerplay quarterback and solid defensively in a 3rd pairing role.

It would allow us to exceed the cap by the amount of his salary. Ferland is great because his contract ends when Klefbom and Smith's also come off the books.
