Why not just offer sheet him? Doubt the leafs would trade him, especially to a divisional rival. Dumping hornquist May be harder than you think . Losing 3 guys (Huberdeau, Weegar + Marchment), even adding Tkatchuk

Value is right for Anaheim, but 2025 picks are too far out. Make it the 2023 2nd and 2024 4th and pick out 6th round any year instead of the 7th.

I’m with it, honestly I wouldn’t mind the 2025 2nd and we can possibly get another if we retain 50% at the TDL for him if he is playing well
