Prob wont happen since they have solid scoring blue line already so no need for bean even tho i like him personally but the defense and physicality of girard is more important for avs than another puck moving offensive dman

I feel like they try and dump macdermit and helm to free up anothe 1.75-2mil than resign kadri to a 1-4 yr deal between 3.5-5mil aav if hes willing to take a discount to try and win another cup

If kadri would accept 3.5 to 5 million the avss could just sign him they have 4 million with 21 man roster so run with 18 for quarter of season and fit around 5.5aav under cap....


Also this trade needs to give the Avs more imho, Girard is clearly better and signed long term 5 years at 5aav... Also not sure why Columbus would have just gave away a very good player for a 3rd and 4th to then trade for more salary....

Girard unfortunately would put the Jackets back over the cap and we saw what it cost them to get out of that situation already. So despite this being a sweetheart deal, I don't think Jarmo would be interested.
