Really feel like this can't be it for the offseason. Feel like there's good options for us to still improve the balance of the team. Moving Vladi now just feels smart. Moving Krugs contract with Perunovich being so good on the pp just makes sense. Puljujarvi just seems like a good fit for our top 9 if we move Vladi. Parayko needs a partner and Leddy just doesn't seem like enough to fill the role. no clue if values are close or not, just throwing ideas out there. This seems like a good Berube team.

I hear ya but we've gotten a couple of their boys already. I know they've been interested in the past. They could use a top RW, especially to help keep them competitive while their injuries heal up and they've got some decent pieces that could come back the other way.

If we actually try an LD upgrade (don't hold your breath, by the way), I'd rather get one that doesn't cost basically four 1sts worth of young, cheap, controlled stuff. Maybe it's just me.

What would be considered a worth while upgrade that's cheaper? A big draw for Chychrun is also his cap hit. Not sure if Arz really cares to move him at this point though. Also moving Krug helps recover atleast a little of those assets

I like Sandin a lot but not sure he provides as much in the D zone as we'd be looking for. I like Soucy too but he's still more of really good 3rd pair guy or a decent 2nd pair in my mind. I just feel if we're gonna try and find a legit Parayko partner AGAIN, this time spend the needed assets and make sure you get a guy you know can play in a top pairing role.

Buddy, Chych isn't top pairing capable from a defensive standpoint. Certainly less so than Soucy and Sandin is ready for more than Toronto gives him. J-Bo wasn't a Chych type. He was a steady, reliable guy who allowed Colt to freewheel more often.

If he's not I'd rather bank on him getting there before Sandin or Soucy just my opinion. And I'm not saying he's the only option, or that Sandin or Soucy couldn't be good, there could be other better options we're not thinking of. Just not sure of what, or what could be pryed away at the right price. I do know if Doug isn't looking/working, he's not doing his job.
