Description

FLA trade:
This trade happens either before the regular season starts or early into the season. Either way I think a defenseman gets moved and with Dumo expiring hes the odd man out.

TOR trade:
This trade happens at the TDL. Pens give Kapanen all the tools and he just cant perform like they want him too. He needs a change of scenery and maybe didnt need a change a scenery from TOR originally.q

ANA/Any team trade:
This trade happens before the season starts. Pens are looking to make room for their younger guys who prove themselves either at camp or at preseason.

Additional Details:

This trade helps both teams. Duclair can be a good top 6 winger for us and imo hed be a great fit with Geno and Rakell. Florida gets a needed top 4 LD to stay competitive. They moved out Weegar and they now have a hole at that LD spot.

Additional Details:

Leafs gain some cap space for this season. Kerfoot is expiring and there are looking to move him so penguins jump on it. Kapanen is familiar with the system and maybe a change of scenery originally wasnt the move for TOR.

Additional Details:

Pens get the better player is the deal to help them on their run. Kapanen falls out of favor and pens start looking at trade options. Kerfoot makes the most sense imo.

Additional Details:

To any team looking for a good bottom 6 forward. He is not a dump just looking to make room for younger guys.

Additional Details:

He is no longer needed and pens trade him to make room for a younger guy like Poeling or Nylander. Both of them have played in the NHL just didnt enjoy the system and didnt work well in them.

I dont think florida trades duclair

That darn cap. Only reason Florida is in their position is Duclair will start the season on LTIR. Adding a 4 mil, non LTIR contract, would put them 8 mil over the cap. A Dumoulin for Hornqvist helps.
