Why would the Flames give up a very good defenseman and another solid one for two cap dumps, an solid 3C/meh 2C, and a late 1st?

Weegar is a freebee from Panthers, you won't have to sign Kylington, you get 3 forwards that you need and a 1st round pick.

Horrible trade for the Flames. Even if I am a Canucks fan, I can't condone this horrid mock trade.

The Florida first rounder and Dvorak are not worth Kylington and taking those 2 very bad contracts. Then you're literally giving away Weegar for free.
