Kadri

Created by: Lancebmx
Team: 2022-23 Detroit Red Wings
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 31, 2022
Published: Jul. 31, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Kadri takes the same deal as Klingberg.

It doesn't really make much sense as it just pushes more guys down the line up. Guys like Zadina or Kubalik need to get a decent amount of ice time to try and solidify themselves in this league and this doesn't help that. Especially once Fabbri is back although I'm sure there will be enough other injuries to allow for some playing time.

Do you think Yzerman brings him to Detroit with his suspension history?

I'd be surprised if Kadri takes a 1yr deal. He's had a hard time getting a deal at age 31, coming off a career year. Would be even tougher at 32, coming off what's certain to be less than an 87pt year

I sure hope not, just going with rumours.

I would be too. Teams that would be willing to sign him are less and less as everyone is fighting with the cap.

I think Kadri's focus will have to shift from the 6-7yr deal to a 3, maybe 4yr deal. Most of the money has dried up around the league.
