      Literally only reason was to replace him with a slightly cheaper player to stay under the cap... Was over with Bouchard's bonus overage. Figured He would be the easiest guy to replace... But maybe not the easiest to trade

      he's really good defensive, especially for a 4th liner. I'd rather barrie gone before ryan if its for cap reasons

      I agree 100%. But I am thinking more and more that Barrie isn't a trade option anymore... Plus he could be more expendable come playoff time for another team... Potentially

      I agree, Edmonton's been looking for a right handed center in the bottom six for some time now and I thought Ryan was perfect
