Fair enough - set it up that way as it is a more realistic trade than trying to get out of Foegele's contract and allows room to re-sign a good young player. Also allows Holloway to come up and have a shot in the big leagues. Not a ton of cap room left for us, just looking at what might realistically have a shot of getting done

I loved Khaira before his injury. Seemed like he might've had a little untapped potential too. But I might be ok with this. Seems EDM would still need some more space though. The available cap space is less than the league minimum even after this trade.

Very true - I think if we were to get the room, it would have to come from actually shipping Foegele out and giving up a decent asset for basically nothing in return

I'm not going to say that Foegele is valuable or anything, but there might possibly be interest from CHI at some point. He would most likely only be there to fill a hole for a while and potentially be flipped at some point. But his speed puts him in the wheelhouse of the kind of game our GM is trying to implement with this rebuild. So, there might be a deal to be made at some point.
