Final Touches

Created by: TMLBRIAN
Team: 2022-23 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 5, 2022
Published: Aug. 5, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
There are a few teams that Kerfoot can go to. Return could be anywhere from negative to a 2nd round pick coming back to Toronto. Hard to pin point values at this time of the year.

4th and 5th line centres will be fought out by Steeves, McMann, Douglas, Audette, Malgin.

Dpairs can be set up a lot of different ways. Someone will need to be flipped to the right, unless they just keep Holl there.

Time will tell.

Team looks quite good here though. I still think they need a bit more toughness on D. On tough Right Dmen (I miss lyubuskin already) would bee good. Also think that having some size on where Robertson is would be beneficial also. A JT Miller type in that spot would be excellent.

Thoughts?

That's a soft team. Add some grit. Smells like first round exit number 7 on its way.

I agree they need toughness. I added that in the description. They need at least one physical right dman. A jt Miller type on the 2nd line would make a huge different. I added ZAR for that reason also.

I think they should turn Holl into a strong/physcial right dman. Muzzin plays physical. Sandin has some physicality. But that's it for their D. They need to add 1 or 2 more. Rielly, Brodie and Gio are very good dmen also just not physical.

Why do TO fans insist on trading Kerfoot (and/or Holl) to Calgary? They don't have the cap space or desire for a centre/left winger!

I did say it could be a lot of teams in the description. Calgary is an option because they can make the cap work and their team is very good and they become better with a guy like Kerfoot in their top 9. But there are also other teams as well.
