SJ can't afford Varly, so they definitely won't be giving up a pick to acquire him, especially since they are probably headed to a rebuild.

Sharks are trading a goalie because we have too many goalies. Not to acquire another overpaid goalie who isn’t much better than Reimer while we’re retooling/rebuilding. The pick is also going the wrong way.

Why would San Jose trade a cheaper goalie while having 3 goalies for another goalie that costs twice as much and add in a 3rd? That is the dumbest trade ever
