Description
You can switch the 3rd and 4th line if you want. Also, Toronto will go after a bigger fish at the deadline to play with JT and WN so you could move Jarnkrok down to the 3rd and Aube-Kubel down to the 4th

Seattle gets a pretty cheap RHD that can play PK and up to 20 minutes a night. Also, they only give up a guy that would play most likely on their fourth line.

I'll give you Derek Grant, or a little Caesars hot and ready pizza.

How bad are the Leafs? You say Geekie in a fourth line centre with Seattle...but somehow he's a third liner for the Leafs.
Kerfoot? Right now his trade value is zero (think 70 point Pacioretty), and Holl just might be less.

Honestly I'd take it. The leafs are probably going to get somewhere near the same they got for Johnsson which is like a depth forward. Also, could you tell me a bit about Grant? Is he more defensive oriented like could he play on the wing of Kampf (shutdown center)? Or is he more offensive where he needs to play with more skillfull players to get the full value out of him? And is he a fast and a heavy forechecker or does he rely more on his positioning?

He's older and less skilled, but has worked hard his entire career to stay in the show. He's got decent size and will throw a lot of hits, was fairly good in the dot but fell off a bit last season. We learned on him for the PK. He's a Swiss army knife forward, doesn't do anything great, but is capable of doing most things well enough to keep a roster spot. He's great to have on the roster, but rather forgettable to the fans.

I said Geekie would play on their fourth line because their top 9 is so deep. He's definitively capable to play in the top 9 and did for a good amount of last season for Seattle. Also, worse case scenario we switch the 3rd and 4th line and do Engvall-Kampf-Jarnkrok (Robertson to 2nd line) and Whoever-Geekie-Aube-Kubel. Also, I said Kerfoot for picks or depth. If Dubas can't get anything for Kerfoot that's fine trade him for nothing, but I'd like to get a depth piece we can use instead of needing to trade for one at the deadline.

So I guess he's a little bit worse version of Jarnkrok who can hit, he would be perfect with Aube-Kubel on the 4th line. Toronto would probably do Bunting-Matthews-Marner... Robertson-Tavares-Nylander... Jarnkrok-Kampf-Engvall...Grant-Whoever (Hopefully Geekie)-Aube-Kubel.

Yeah, probably, he's a bit cheaper than Jarnkrok too. He did string together 29 points in 71 games this year, including 15 goals. He was also second on the team in hits after Deslauriers.
