I’m not saying Miller isn’t worth that, but given his age I wouldn’t make the deal. If you aren’t getting younger than you aren’t getting better. If Lou wants to acquire a star winger hit should be Timo Meier.

Sure. I’d like Meier as well. I don’t see how Lou could make that happen. I was just suggesting Miller who is at least a few years younger than Kadri.

Probably starts with Beau, Wally and a first. Which tbh you probably have to do if it gets you Meier. I’d give up more draft capital if they agreed to move bailey tho.

Side Note: I’ve been trying to make a Meier trade ACGM and I can’t figure it out tbh

I had to overpay to keep you Canuck fans from going over the edge.

No doubt. Some (most) of the Canucks fans on here are pretty are pretty *optimistic*.

Hardly an overpay. Don’t need wingers. Beau isn’t improving the line up & is only an effort to balance Lou’s cap problem. Not trying to be a homer in the slightest it’s just this deal doesn't address Canucks needs. Idk if good trade partners.

Maybe they’re not good trading partners but it seemed like there was something at the draft that fell through. Beau is a wildcard. I didn’t like trading him because I think he could break out given different circumstances and your right it was used to balance the cap. The picks need to be used by the canucks to address their needs which I assume is RD and C.
At least I didn’t try to unload Bailey on Vancouver and make it sound like a good idea.

I mean the value is there but I simply don’t see where Beau would fit in our forward group. Losing Miller, we would still have too many wingers. He would be third line at best
