I doubt Detroit trades Suter before being sure Copp can take over as Detroit's 2C. Now Suter is a 3C but he is the only center to consistently produce in the 2C spot since Yzerman took over as GM. They also might not trade Suter at all it might be Veleno who gets traded. I think one of them is moved at the TDL and it will probably be the one that brings in the biggest return.

I don't hate the trade but I hate the signing. Kessel will likely go to a contender for cheap, rather give Zadina that roster spot.
